The Nike Air Max 97 Off-White Black is Virgil Abloh's take on the Air Max 97, the model built around a full-length visible Air unit. Buy it if you want the Abloh treatment on the most technical silhouette in the Air Max line.
The upper keeps the 97's wave-line panels, said to be inspired by Japanese bullet trains, with exposed foam, raw-edged construction, the hand-cut Swoosh, and Abloh's text hits. The full-length Air unit runs the entire length of the sole, which no other Air Max does the same way.
